Friends, enemies, schoolmates: I would ask for your help on a history matter. During the second battle of Sabine Pass daily reports from Dick Dowling to his commanding officers told of happenings and strategies for Fort Griffin. I have read the reports once in a newspaper but cannot remember where. If this information can be obtained it would be useful in finding the Twin Sisters cannons of Sam Houston. Please help if you can.
