Friends, enemies, schoolmates: I would ask for your help on a history matter. During the second battle of Sabine Pass daily reports from Dick Dowling to his commanding officers told of happenings and strategies for Fort Griffin. I have read the reports once in a newspaper but cannot remember where. If this information can be obtained it would be useful in finding the Twin Sisters cannons of Sam Houston. Please help if you can.

Leonard Critcher, '63, has released his second novel, Crossing The Line. The second book in a trilogy, it takes place in the late 60's and 70's and has received rave reviews for its fast moving pace and splendid cast of characters.
